this morning we pulled up to the south florida fairgrounds a half hour after the gates opened. it's the last day of what's apparently a staple around these parts each year, and i wanted to check it out. in line to buy our tickets, a man turned around and gave us the extra one he had (i'll be paying that forward)! so there we were, soaking up some much-needed sunshine under a canvas of the most vibrant blue, with an entire amusement park to ourselves. it was a dream. i snapped pictures of every color at every turn, and mark reminisced on his punk kid days riding this and that and eating junk til he puked. we spent a couple hours there, and left as it started to fill up with families hoping to get some last-day fun in. until next year, south florida fair! i liked you.
Oh how these pictures make me want to be there so bad. What a beautiful day!
